Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                   
following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill:                             
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 293(FIN)                                                                  
    "An Act relating to a state sales and use tax; relating to taxes                                
    levied by cities and boroughs; providing authority to the                                       
    Department of Revenue to enter into the Streamlined Sales and                                   
    Use Tax Agreement; relating to the motor fuel tax; relating to the                              
    definition of 'taxpayer'; relating to the rate of interest on                                   
    delinquent taxes and overpayments of taxes; and providing for an                                
    effective date."                                                                                
                                                                                                    
There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                        
                                                                                                    
Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that                                       
CSHB 293(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading,                                   
and placed on final passage.                                                                        
                                                                                                    
The Speaker stated that CSHB 293(FIN) will be held to tomorrow's                                    
calendar.  There being no objection, it was so ordered.
